that was the best trade by the leafs so far. coliacovo is made of glass and for that reason the leafs would have been lucky to get a bag of pucks in exchange.

lol this is some funny shit...with that being said stempniak is much better off in toronto. Sure he was a fan favorite here but i always saw straight through him, hes a mediocre player (who exerts little or no effort and plays like a little girl) and happened to have one big year...also correct me if im wrong but i think since the trade both colaiacovo and steen have more points than stempy...good trade on the blues part, toronto have fun paying stempys ridiculous contract next year

Ya, stempinak played all 82 games last year and had a good amount of ice time and did shit. I wouldn't be to excited about him. He is young and talented but overall I really like the trade.(Saint Louis Fan)
