serve preferably in old teacups :))) you can add smaller, star-shaped icecubes to each cup make more as needed [make some more in advance and have it in the fridge to just pour in the punchbowl later] hehe not very useful a Xmas recipe one month AFTER Xmas but oh well it can be a non-Xmas punch as well! The red color of the punch, green color of lime slices and the sliced stars reminded of Xmas theme. Voila! PS I hope I didnt win a painting because I couldnt claim it in 3 days :((( agh!!!!

The recipe: icecubes in a big punch bowl base of vodka apple vermouth, white Bellini or Martini a drop of cognac [Hennessy Very Special] a lick of Tanqueray gin cranberry juice soda water the juice of 3 limes that you have juiced This is THE crucial ingredient that makes the punch special! 2 limes, sliced this year I decided to add starfruit slices they are so pretty make sure the starfruit is RIPE [yellow, not green] so I recommend purchasing them days in advance or else they wont taste good

[cont'd] I loved your love potion idea, my version of the Xmas potion is actually a kind of potion it's my Xmas punch. I invented the recipe and have been making it at the Xmas eve dinner every year and this year was very special, after big life changes I had old friends I hadnt seen in a long time come to my Xmas dinner, and one of them when he arrived after 6 years of not seeing each other went "oh! you made your punch!" and I had to make some more and it was all gone
