Wrong, Epic Fail. I reesembaled my DS and it was not the battery but the cable cut on the edge destroying the cable thats needed

your ds battery is probably backwards it has nothing to do with the broken top screen just open the ds battery holder and put it on rite the same thing happened to me hey its that or its that your top screen isint connected rite to your ds
