Okay all you purists Kiri Te Kanawa has made it her signature....and the Maori Choirs sing it sweet ...even the All Blacks do it kind.... but so nice that someone does it in a Nordic language and sails the song across the seas!!!!!

I am sure that this artist has a great album. She does have a wonderful voice. With that being said, I must say that this is the worst rendition of Pokarekare Ana I have ever heard. Her pronunciation of the Maori language is horrible. I have to say thumbs down.

This is so shit... Her pronouction is crap, like her vowels. Call me a traditionalist but going to another language? She is so not a classical singer.

The album was released in 1989. And I found it on Amazon, so perhaps you should check again... ;)

Thank you for the lovely song.....I had only heard Kiri Te Kanawa's version prior. May I ask about the album you call"Soria Moria".....could not find it on Amazon or ebay>When was this recorded?
