Wrong dude! (Or chick, I don't know who I'm talking to right now). But Jamaal Malik and Saleem Malik are both Islamic names. They were killed by people screaming "kill them, they are Muslims". And Rama appeared, but the characters themselves weren't Hindu. Jamaal said his mother got killed because of Allah and Rama, saying if there wasn't a differentiation, she wouldn't have gotten killed.

Latika, Jamaal Malik and Saleem Malik were Muslims. They were living in the Muslim parts. The Hindus came and attacked them (in the movie) and killed Jamaal and Saleem's mother. And others. That doesn't mean that Muslims don't attack Hindu living compounds either, but here the Muslims are attacked by the Hindus.
