In James Brown's New York Times obit, they said Jagger took lessons from him on how to shuffle around on the stage.

They played through that song like they were in a hurry to go somewhere . Great upbeat performance . By the way it's said Mick started dancing on stage after he went to a James Brown concert and saw the way he moved around on the stage .

Pity they chose to focus entirely on mick's dancing during the guitar solo instead of keith for instance. As if the solo was only an excuse for mick to shimmy for a few bars haha.

By early 1964 the Stones had overtaken the Beatles in England for popularity with younger fans. Isaw them in May of that year, slightly less than what John paid equivalent t0 32 1/2 p. Saw thema gain when they returned from this tour. It was the first time Brian Jones had used that white guitar in Britain. If you llok up rolling Stones in Hull there is a clip of them pretending to hitchike away from there to the next gig which was in Hull and the first time they were filmed in colour.
