I took my game back to the store where I bought it after it wouldn't work and got another copy, sure enough it wouldn't work again. So I went back up there and they gave me some B.S about it being a problem with with my PS3 even though it worked like a charm until the very minute I put WAW in. After that my other games wouldn't work unless I sat there for an hour re-inserting the disc. And even then most of the time it would freeze at the black screen.I think its a blue ray issue caused by WAW

Same thing happened to me, since I have played WAW, I can't play anything else. I was able to get WAW to play again though, the discs show up on mine sometimes, but wont get past the playstation 3 screen, just stays black. valkyrie chronicles does that, I had mirrors edge playing, then after a while, it just doesnt load anything in the game. idk what it is. could my laser be going bad?

mine started doing this on christmas day. wont load PS3 games but it still can load blu ray movies and music cd's, what I do is 1st I load any demo then press the PS buton and quite the demo then the blue cd icon will now appear, after that I can play the game without a problem. the only problem is doing the demo thing every time I play a game.

I feel ya dude. It sucks. I had two ps2's in a row that stopped working too. My First Ps3 stopped working after a week, then this one now. I called Sony and started to fill out the online service request form when I realized I can't find the receipt or proof of purchase for my ps3... now I dunno what to do. I might have to just pay them. Sucks.
