These guys owe Buddy Holly a lot. The Byrds did this song, too. Look at practically all of the early British invasion acts, and you will see people imitating Buddy Holly.

the stones were fucking amazing when brian was still alive because he could play anything and make amzing music out of all instruments. they were still good upto about 1978 '79 then in the '80s's jagger started singing like a fairy
