@Thegoodlife: Funny, isn't it Shaq who recently was practically begging for another chance to be a Laker? It was a major suck up to Kobe and the Lakers, he knows they will be winning more championships without him, and he wants back now that he sees that. So to say he's not sh** without Shaq is ridiculous. He just won the MVP and went to the finals last year despite his injury and his center and sixth man being injured.

@ Legendkiller: I agree, but too many people are comparing the Kobe of the past to Jordan who's career is already in the books. If you look at Kobe now, the matured Kobe, and consider if he gets a few more rings, I think I'd be able to mention him with Jordan. Michael Jordan was probably at his best in his early 30's, and Kobe has just hit 30. So I think it's hard to say that Kobe will NEVER be as good as Jordan.

Yeah, adidas dropped him after the rape thing. He stayed clean for a while and then got signed by nike.
